BOLD Career Pathway Program

Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center has partnered with South Carolina Student Loan Corporation to assist with building a talent pipeline where student nurses have jobs prior to graduation with as little debt as possible.

How It Works:

  • The student contacts South Carolina Student Loan Corporation for eligibility information
  • If the student is eligible, they will complete a panel interview with hospital leadership
  • If the student is chosen for the program, the student must commit to work for Carolina Pines for three (3) years upon graduation, sign an employer agreement and Carolina Pines will pay up to $20,000 of the student’s student loans
  • South Carolina Student Loan Corporation handles the loan process with the student and the college
  • Employment begins upon graduation
  • Carolina Pines pays the loan annually based on the original agreement with the student and South Carolina Loan Corporation
