Dialysis

The inpatient dialysis unit provides hemodialysis to inpatients in the hospital whether they are established dialysis patients, patients requiring short term dialysis or new dialysis patients. The unit has 4 hemodialysis units allowing hemodialysis to be performed 24 hours a day. The dialysis unit also has 1 personal cycler that allows for peritoneal dialysis to be done at the patient's bedside.

Dialysis patients that are in the Intensive Care Unit receive dialysis at the bedside. The dialysis unit is staffed by highly trained nurses that are dedicated to the dialysis unit.
