The Auxiliary of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center
Members of Carolina Pines Auxiliary volunteer their time and talents to the hospital to help support our high standards of patient care by comforting patients and family and performing tasks that help lighten the load of professional staff members.

Scholarships
The Auxiliary of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center offers scholarships annually to area students who are interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. Any scholarship awarded is paid directly to the school in the student’s name. All aspects of the medical world, including but not limited to the practice of medicine (physician), radiology, laboratory, nursing, physical therapy, surgical technology, etc. These are among the many fields of study in which students may qualify for scholarship eligibility. Scholarships range from $500-$1,000. Successful applicants are asked to furnish proof of acceptance or continued enrollment in an accredited technical school, college, or university. Applicants are evaluated on their academic achievement, personal statement, school and community involvement and a written recommendation from a classroom teacher, counselor, or academic advisor. The application process begins in February and awards are announced in early May of each year.
Lights of Love
Each year, the Lights of Love program at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center is truly a labor of love for our Auxiliary. This program provides a wonderful opportunity for us to welcome the holiday season, while honoring and remembering those who have meant the most to us. All funds raised through the efforts of the Auxiliary, including this beautiful event, will be used to fund scholarships for students wishing to pursue a degree in the medical field. The annual Lights of Love program is the auxiliary's most cherished fundraiser, designed to provide an opportunity to honor or memorialize someone special.
