Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Sponsors Scholarships To Area Students Seeking Careers in Healthcare

The Auxiliary of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center is excited to announce that the 2023 Carolina Pines Auxiliary Scholarship Application will be available beginning Monday, February 13, 2023.
Since 1999, the Auxiliary of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center has awarded more than $160,000 in scholarships to area students who are interested in pursuing careers in medical related fields.* This long-time tradition continues annually to provide financial support to students in the communities that we serve (Chesterfield, Darlington, Lee, and Marlboro).
Beginning Monday, February 13, 2023, scholarship applications may be downloaded by visiting cprmc.com/ScholarshipApplication. Individuals may also pick up applications from the Hospital Gift Shop or the Human Resources Office, both located on the first floor of the hospital.
The deadline to return the completed application is Wednesday, March 22 at 4:00 pm. (Late applications or incomplete applications will not be accepted.) The mailing address is: Auxiliary Scholarship Committee, Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, 1304 West Bobo Newsom Highway, Hartsville, SC 29550. Completed applications may also be emailed to Charlotte.Adams@cprmc.com. Scholarship award recipients will be selected by a committee of Auxiliary members. Letters to candidates who are awarded scholarships will be placed in the mail on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
*A medical related field for this scholarship is defined as the “practice of medicine in a discipline found in a hospital or physician’s office” as contrasted to tangential fields such as dentistry, counseling, learning disabilities, administration, research, technology, chiropractic medicine, etc.
