Carolina Pines Now Accepting Applications for Care Apprentice Program

Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center (CPRMC) is once again offering its Carolina Pines Care Apprentice Program, providing students in Hartsville and surrounding communities with a unique opportunity to explore careers in healthcare. This immersive program helps students build a strong foundation for their future by offering hands-on experience and exposure to a variety of career paths within the medical field.

Through participation in the Care Apprentice Program, students gain valuable insights into the day-to-day responsibilities of healthcare professionals, helping them confirm their career interests or discover new areas of passion in the industry.

To be eligible, applicants must be a rising high school senior or a rising college freshman or sophomore.

“The Care Apprentice Program is a fantastic opportunity for students to experience healthcare firsthand,” says Rachel Courtney, Manager of Education at CPRMC. “Many students enter the program uncertain about their future in healthcare, but by the time they complete it, they have a clearer vision of their path. Whether they decide to pursue nursing, medical school, or another area of healthcare, this program equips them with the knowledge and confidence to move forward.”

Applications can be accessed online at cprmc.com/CareApprenticeProgram or picked up from the Human Resources Department on the first floor of the hospital.
