Carolina Pines Medical Group Welcomes New Nephrologist, Dr. Christine Dillingham
February 7, 2025

Carolina Pines Medical Group is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Christine Dillingham to its Nephrology team. Dr. Dillingham, a board-certified Nephrologist, brings extensive training and experience in kidney care, having completed a Clinical Nephrology Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Dillingham’s approach to patient care is deeply rooted in a patient-first approach and attention to detail. She explains, “I believe the practice of medicine should be centered on patient advocacy with our team working collectively to comprehensively address patient concerns while striving for the best possible outcomes. I sincerely value my patients' thoughts and concerns, making it a point to listen closely to every symptom to facilitate no stone unturned- attention to detail is vital. I also enjoy getting to know my patients personally, affording the opportunity to treat patients from a more holistic approach.”
Having received her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Dr. Dillingham has also completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of South Florida and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Throughout her career, she has been involved in multiple research projects, quality improvement projects and clinical trials, strengthening her expertise in patient care and medical advancements.
When asked what attracted her to Carolina Pines Medical Group, Dr. Dillingham said, “The biggest draw for me to Carolina Pines was the camaraderie and collegiality amongst the staff. The emphasis on teamwork and putting the patient’s needs first creates an environment where providers can truly collaborate to give the best care possible, and that’s something embedded deeply in my core values.”
“We are thrilled to have Dr. Dillingham join our team,” said Bill Little, CEO of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. “Her dedication to providing comprehensive, patient-focused care aligns perfectly with our values. We know she will provide excellent care to our Nephrology patients and contribute greatly to our mission of delivering quality healthcare to the community.”
Dr. Dillingham is now welcoming new patients at Carolina Pines Medical Group Nephrology located at 701 Medical Park Drive, Suite 303 in Hartsville. Patients can schedule an appointment by calling 843.383.2764.
