Carolina Pines Auxiliary Announces 2025 Scholarship Opportunities for Aspiring Healthcare Professionals

The Auxiliary of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center is proud to continue its tradition of supporting local students pursuing careers in healthcare-related fields. Since 1999, the Auxiliary has awarded more than approximately $170,000 in scholarships to students across the communities Carolina Pines serves, including Chesterfield, Darlington, Hartsville, Lee, and Marlboro counties.
Last year alone, 30 scholarships were granted to individuals ranging in age from 17 to 60. These recipients represented six local communities and enrolled in 13 different colleges and universities, demonstrating the program’s broad impact and commitment to fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Beginning Monday, February 17, 2025, scholarship applications will be available for download at cprmc.com/scholarship. Physical copies can also be obtained from the Human Resources Office and the front desk, both located on the first floor of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.
Completed applications must be submitted by March 19, 2025. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications may be:

Scholarship recipients will be notified via mail on April 21, 2025.
Eligible applicants must be pursuing a medically related field that involves the direct practice of medicine in a hospital or physician’s office. The scholarship committee reserves the right to determine which fields of study qualify.
