The Auxiliary of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center to Host Third Annual Lights of Love
October 5, 2020
The Auxiliary of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center has announced that it will host its Third Annual Lights of Love on Sunday, November 22 at 4:30 pm. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the auxiliary has made the decision to host this year’s event virtually, via Facebook Live on Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center’s Facebook page. The live event will consist of an outdoor tree lighting ceremony with music, followed by a prayer.
Lights will be available for purchase beginning Thursday, October 1. Each light is $10.00 and can be purchased in honor or in memory of a loved one. Acknowledgement cards will be mailed to commemorate the honor, and all names will be published on social media and on the Carolina Pines website. To purchase a light, please visit cprmc.com/event/33 or call 843.339.4563.
“Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center and the Auxiliary are excited to continue the tradition of Lights of Love,” said Bill Little, CEO of Carolina Pines. Although this year’s event will be held virtually, we encourage the community to join us on Facebook as we have Dr. Susan Reynolds light our tree for the Christmas season. This event will be something for the whole family to enjoy and we are honored to be able to give back to our community with the funds raised.”
Proceeds from the event will fund yearly scholarships provided by the auxiliary to area students that are pursuing an education in the medical field. In 2019, the Auxiliary of Carolina Pines was able to fund over twenty scholarships for local students by funds raised from Lights of Love.
